Robert Redford and Debra Winger star as opposing lawyers who become involved in a complex case of art theft and conspiracy. As their professional rivalry develops into a personal relationship, they uncover hidden motives and conflicting interests, forcing them to reassess loyalties while pursuing the truth in court.
