Event Description

Celebrate History Month with two of our history and craft loving librarians as they speak about the history of your favourite crafts. They will discuss objects that tell a story of skill, family and history - including a belt made of butterfly wings and cellophane, handcrafted in the jungles of New Guinea during World War II; and a collection of embroidered tea towels made in the 1950s following a tradition dating back thousands of years.
