Event Description

Learn to write for a young readership. These workshops are perfect for adult writers wanting to learn the craft of writing specifically for readers between nine and 14 years of age. You will learn about structure, tone, dialogue, and how to create memorable characters. There will be time to write and workshop together.

These workshops are facilitated by Nova Weetman, talented author of middle-grade and young adult novels, and screenwriter for films and TV.

The beginners session is aimed at participants with little to no previous writing experience. The intermediate session is tailored to those with previous writing experience.
