Robyn Annear, 'Corners of Melbourne'
Thursday 18 April 2024 at 6:00PM
Sam Merrifield Library
Event Description
What better defines a city than its street corners? Melbourne's favourite historian, Robyn Annear, takes us on an unorthodox tour with wit and humour in her new book, 'Corners of Melbourne: The great orange-peel panic and other stories from the streets'. Bizarre, baroque and mostly forgotten stories of pillar boxes, pubs, lamp-posts and larrikins.
