Gunai/Kurnai woman Veronica Gorrie discusses her 2022 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award-winning memoir, 'Black and Blue: a memoir of racism and resilience'. It looks at her childhood in Eastern Victoria, her time as a single mother, and her experience as a police officer in Queensland and Victoria. It asks questions around racism, domestic violence and failures in Australian policing. In celebration of NAIDOC Week.
