Event Concluded

Event Description

The recent discovery of rare, 70-year-old silent film footage in an Australian archive set off a multi-year quest by two filmmakers to discover the stories behind the reel. For one of the filmmakers, Tiriki Onus, it is an especially person quest as the reel features his charismatic Aboriginal activist grandfather, Bill Onus.

This is a special opportunity to view this multi-award winning history mystery - a window into Australia's 20th century Indigenous history and civil rights movement - followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers, Tiriki Onus and Alec Morgan.

In celebration of NAIDOC Week.
