Award-winning author John Morrissey investigates colonialism, identity, and experiences of First Peoples in his remarkable debut collection of short stories, 'Firelight'.

Morrissey is a Melbourne writer of Kalkadoon descent. His work has been published in Overland, Voiceworks, Meanjin and the anthology 'This All Come Back Now'. Morrissey has been shortlisted for the 2024 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards Indigenous Writing Prize.
